Verkar som om jag kommer ihåg att nomaderna var lågteknologiska, med städerna med högre teknik. Det var därför som detta verkade mer sci-fi än fantasi.
Kan inte komma ihåg mycket annat, några idéer skulle vara bra. Jag har sökt så mycket som möjligt av namn, författare och titlar och kan inte tyckas hitta något. Någon?
Det här påminner mig kraftigt om Väst i januari . Långt roterande planet, spotted med olika kulturer, gräsmarker nomader som vår hjälte kommer ifrån. Kulturer nära polerna är mer avancerade.

Space travellers encounter low-tech nomads living on a slowly rotating planet. As I recall, someone falls behind and is rescued from the ice that endlessly chases them.
