Enligt KA Applegate kan animorfer morfera enskilda cellorganismer. Som andra har påpekat händelsen i bok 18 berodde på en viss händelse, och inte bara på grund av morphs storlek.
Den enda gränsen till storleken är att man måste ha ett sätt att förvärva sitt DNA.
