Cloud Ark-konstitutionen ligger på den lätta änden när det gäller ett straffrättsligt system. Frågan är inte så mycket att hitta en fängelse - någon arklet skulle göra - som att ha fängelse (sidan 289):

Utgåva (i) - Julias resa kränkning av Crater Lake Accord - är inte verkligen deras problem (sidan 323) (och trots Ivy tal på 341-342):

The rights granted you by the Cloud Ark Constitution, no more and no less, are your rights. The laws and responsibilities of the Cloud Ark Constitution now bind you.
För ditt problem (ii) är det oroet att korrigera överträdelserna, inte straffa sig på grund av dem (igen utan fängelser måste betoningen vara att stoppa dåligt beteende, inte förhindra potentiellt framtida dåligt beteende genom profylaktisk fängsla) - på sidan 342, berättar alla Ivy att Julia ska Stänga upp och låt Dinah Drive :

För ditt problem (iii) är bevisen otillräcklig för att göra mycket med (sidan 349):

Markus's eyes went to Ivy. He had been listening to Julia for a long time, and needed a break.
