För att läsa Harrys tankar, skulle Voldemort behöva komma in i hans sinne men han kan inte / skulle inte komma in i Harrys sinne eftersom han misslyckades med att ha Harry en gång (på grund av kärlek). Det skulle ha skadat Voldemorts ego och han skulle inte försöka göra det igen.
