I Doctor Who - The Mind Robber (Patrick Troughton) finns det någon form av mental kontroll i avsnitt 1. Jag undrade om allt som följer är faktiskt föreställt.
Det verkar finnas några saker som pekar på att allt är helt fiktivt: 1) Vi ser Tardis explodera, doktorn och hans följeslagare som flyger genom tomhet som håller på till Tardis konsolen bara att landa i en skog, oskadad. 2) Deras viljestyrka används för att orsaka föremål, människor inte existerar / existerar inte. 3) I slutet fixar Tardis bara plötsligt sig och besättningen är på väg. 4) I nästa avsnitt ser vi inte författaren, som räddades, återlämnas till sin egen tid och plats.
Kan någon säga säkert om detta var allt föreställt av doktorn och hans följeslagare? Eller vet vi att det här "verkligen" hände?

Genom att använda TARDISs nödenhet blir TARDIS fångad i The White Void :

Även här kan till synes omöjliga saker uppstå - som TARDIS exploderande och The Doctor changing reality . Efter händelserna i The Mind Robber återmonterar TARDIS de åter in i normala utrymmen igen.
Landet visas också i ljudböckerna och serierna. Canonicity in Doctor Who är ganska fuzzy saker , men de upprepade referenserna till dessa fickor universum betyder att de var riktiga nog att återvända.
Jag har inte faktiskt sett episoden själv men om det är en del av kontinuiteten så hände det faktiskt. Från forskning enligt wikipediaartikeln står det att händelserna följde Dominatorns nederlag på Dulkis efter att doktorn avbröt en vulkanutbrott. Det anges

Den del där TARDIS exploderar är när de försöker komma tillbaka till verkligheten.
They land in a white void and as the Doctor fixes the TARDIS, Jamie and Zoe are lured outside and are confronted by white robots. The Doctor gets them back inside but, as they try to return to reality, the TARDIS explodes and the travellers are scattered into nothingness.
Det är möjligt att anta att de alla landade i ett slags konstigt universum där händelserna verkligen inträffade.
Även enligt wikipedia står det The Land of Fiction (den plats där de hamnade är en riktig plats, även om det är förklaring inte 100% canon på grund av att det är i ett spin-off media)

In Conundrum, it is revealed that the Land of Fiction was created by the Gods of Ragnarok. The novels, like all spin-off media, are of uncertain canonicity. It features once more in the Big Finish Productions audio adventures City of Spires, Night's Black Agents, The Wreck of the Titan, and Legend of the Cybermen, this time featuring the Sixth Doctor (though the protagonists do not realise this until the very end of Titan).
