Vad menar han med det?
Mina tankar om detta:
"Nålen börjar vid noll"? Han jämför sig med en hastighetsmätare? Eller metaforiskt till ett tomt kärl? Han har ingen i hans liv. Det är vettigt. Vi vet att han är en ensam, professionell brottsling. Inga seriösa bilagor i hans liv, andra som hans medarbetare, som har utvecklat en slags vänskap, kan du märka.
"Å andra sidan." Hastighetsmätaren visar negativ hastighet? Han lever i strid med de flesta andra människor? Vet inte.
Den andra delen förstår jag inte. "En dubbel blank"? Hur passar det? Jag förstår verkligen inte riktigt det.

Tekniskt sett kan en nål inte gå under noll (även om det finns meter där du bor under noll är bra, t ex decibel meter), och det är på ett sätt hans punkt: det är inte som att han inte har haft möjlighet eller att han inte var " t som är intresserad av det förflutna, har han aktivt undvikit det.
