WGA-skriptet säger följande:

Observera att det brinnande templet ligger i en tidigare scen, innan Luke och R2D2 dyker upp och definitivt före KoR.

To see we're LOOKING UP AT A WARRIOR as he is STABBED BY A FIERY LIGHTSABER! He screams and falls to the ground -- we FOLLOW HIM, revealing Rey again, now in a nighttime battlefield. She gets to her feet, frightened by what she sees.

We PIVOT AROUND HER to REVEAL KYLO REN, and the six other KNIGHTS OF REN, who flank him!

Med andra ord säger man inte någonting användbart om KoR-bakgrunden. Men det verkar som om det förmodligen inte är Lukas förstörda tempel.

Intressant är att Foster romaniseringen omvänd ordern och nämner SOME Temple som bakgrund. Ingen aning om det var Lukas tempel; men Luke och R2D2 var i en nästa, SEPARATE scen i boken.
