För att sammanfatta resten av artikeln är tanken att sprida rädsla för de återstående nazisterna, så de börjar frukta Basterds. Apache var så bra att presentera sig som en fruktansvärd fiende, att deras fiender ibland skulle begå självmord innan de till och med attackerades, av rädsla för vad "vildarna" annars skulle göra mot dem.
