Jag har provat googling detta och frågar på andra webbplatser, och ingen har kunnat ge mig ett korrekt svar.
Jag har lagt till bilder från seriet som det hör till nedan, så det hjälper förhoppningsvis. De visar Superman på ett rymdskepp som ligger på gränsen till att falla i ett svart hål. Han lämnar skeppet när de båda faller i det svarta hålet, och Döden framträder.

Den enda referens som jag kan hitta för Supes faktiskt fysiskt kämpar mot döden finns i Superman - Where is my Sting? släppt av DC Comics den 1 januari 2001.

Superman is thrown into the future, as Death tries to convince him to die. Death is having trouble killing Superman.
Superman sees an Earth where the sun has gone nova and everyone is dead. He goes further, where Superman is the sole survivor as the universe ends, and finally, with the end of existence, Superman ends as well, taking Death with him.
