Vem skapade korsformarna från Hyperion Cantos?

Jag är för närvarande på den 3: e boken från Hyperion Cantos . Jag läste Hyperion och Hyperionfall och de har blivit en av mina favorit sci-fi-böcker hela tiden, men jag har en fråga. (Tydliga förstörare om första två böckerna nedan.)

The cruciforms are revealed to be created by the Technocore to keep the necessary amount of people alive and compliant. However, from the priest's stories, the temple of the cruciform and the labyrinths where they're found are thousands of years older than christianity itself. The technocore didn't become technocore until shortly before Old Earth was destroyed so...how could they have been the creators of the cruciform if there were references to it long before the technocore was around. I know the Time Tombs travel back in time, however the books never describe the labyrinths or the temple having such entropic fields.

Det var inte TechnoCore som skapade de korsformiga parasiterna, utan snarare:

The Ultimate Intelligence the TechnoCore eventually created (in the future).

De korsformiga parasiterna skickades sedan tillbaka till det förflutna, så att de kunde testas och perfekta.

Från Endymion :

"But how?" I said. "how could the TechnoCore AIs know how to tame the cruciform symbiote?" I saw the answer even before she spoke.

"They created the cruciforms," said Aenea. "Not the current Core, but the UI they create in the future. It sent the things back in time on Hyperion just as it did the Time Tombs. Tested the parasites on the lost tribe... the Bikura... saw the problems..."

Efter att de testades på Bikura, utvecklade TechnoCore UI en process för att undvika förlust av könskarakteristika och minne / hjärnfunktion som uppstår genom upprepade oassistenta uppståndelser.

Skapandet av det korsformade templet som användes av Bikura, där Duré gav korsformen, var

a trap devised by the UI, so that first Duré, and then Hoyt, would be infected, and bring the cruciform parasites back to the Church, so that the TechnoCore could entice the Church into forming the Pax, and thereby becoming an instrument of the TechnoCore

I "Hyperions fall":

Gladstone talar om varför kärnan inte längre använder webben och behöver bara några miljoner människor i labyrinternas 9 världar för de datorbehov som de har och som svar på "de kommer att dö ut" förklarar hon: "kärnan har utformat en parasitisk parasit kallad krossformen, häxan kommer att hålla neuronerna levande". Då kommer kärnan inte ha mer behov av människorna, när de har utvecklats och inte behöver datorkraften.

Det är min uppfattning att enheten skapas i framtiden och tas tillbaka till korsformens tempel för förvaring. Korsformen sprider sig inte förrän den behövs, och när vi ser labyrinten med alla krossformar och döda människor, är vi tydligt i framtiden och ser vad som kan hända (det här är innan Gladstone berättar om krossformarnas ursprung).
