Min pappa läste en bokserie som han rekommenderade för mig förra året. Nu när jag är redo att starta det, kan ingen av oss återkalla titeln. Han sa att det fanns flera i serien men han kan inte komma ihåg hur många.
Boken handlar om att resa till en ny planet, förmodligen med målet att kolonisera det. Besättningen är kloner som inte har något minne. Jag tror att målet var för de äldre originalversionerna av klonerna att överföra sitt medvetande till klonkropparna för att kunna leva på den nya planeten, men något går fel.
Det finns en inhemsk art på jorden som är humanoid men har känguru som svansar.
Klonbesättningen har markeringar på dem som de inte förstår förrän sent. Tydligen är de markeringar för att visa status eller roll i den nya världen. Den person som de röstade som ledare, det visar sig, är markerad som tjänare eller slavklass.
