Den mörka Herrens Horcruxes verkar inte på något sätt för att representera olika delar av hans kropp. Anledningen till att de fungerar som kroppar på något sätt, som "blödning" när de knivas och har en "hjärtslag" kan vara för att de fungerar som den förtrollade kroppen för själsdelen som är innesluten i dem.

Detta verkar vara den mest troliga orsaken till att Horcruxerna ibland visar uppträdande som liknar en kropp, snarare än dem som representerar separata delar av den mörka Herrens kropp.
