En radiostation sänds ljud som spelas in från djupt utrymme och de låter när de förstärks gav människor en lycksalig trance. Och det slutade med huvudpersonen som förbannade fyndet och folk missbrukade det, men sedan börjar radion och han är lyckligt glad igen.
Det är en novell och kände sig som Vonnegut-stil. Tyvärr kan jag inte lägga till kommentarer än, jag uppdaterar den här frågan.

I've got the swellest little kid and the swellest bunch of friends and the swellest old wife in the world. And good old Lew Harrison is the salt of the earth, believe me.
