Förhållandet mellan Fargo säsong 2 och filmen

Jag kanske måste korrigeras för detta men jag tror inte att det finns en direkt plot eller karaktärsförbindelse mellan Fargo (1996) och Fargo Säsong 2 (2015), de är endast relaterade genom association via Fargo (TV-serien) Säsong 1 (2014).

När det gäller plot är den första serien relaterad till filmen genom Stavros Milos upptäckt av de pengar som begravdes av Carl Showalter i filmen. Den första säsongen i tv-serien är givetvis kopplad till den andra men Lou Solverson-karaktären, som hänvisar till händelserna kring "Sioux Falls Massacre" som vi senare ser under säsong 2.

Tematiskt är alla bitar kopplade till teman av dödade mordförsök, intrång av våldsamma mördare i vad som annars är nära knutna samhällen och jordens salt, dogged poliser som fortsätter att göra gott arbete trots förankrade synpunkter på sina (ofta inkompetenta) brottsbekämpande medarbetare - och naturligtvis finns alla dessa "sanna berättelser" i samma fiktionaliserade universum.

Medan det inte är en direktlänk till filmen finns det en stor blinkning till moven dvs i minst en plotstam:

The first season has been the most directly connected to the events and arc of the film. Fargo's second round, however, did swipe one big chunk of the movie's plot, by masking a kidnapping victim in a burlap sack and tying him to a chair in a remote cabin with a malfunctioning old television set. The show even uses similar language to describe the mindset of the kidnappers, as an innocent bystander who encounters them says they're restless and bored … or, "Going crazy out there at the lake."

But in the second year, the show loaded up on leftovers, serving up covers of [...] Jose Feliciano's "Let's Find Each Other Tonight" from the movie version of Fargo.
