How "Officiell" är Blood Hunter-klassen?

Jag fick en fråga nyligen om klassen Blood Hunter , som förvirrade mig eftersom D & D Utanför sidan är det väldigt visuellt skillnad från sidor för Homebrew, men allt jag har sett visar att D & D 5e har varit extremt reticent att introducera helt nya klasser, istället väljer man att skapa mer varierade klassarketyper (t.ex. Divine Soul som en sorcerös ursprung). Efter en liten undersökning verkar det vara "speciellt" för ospecificerade skäl. Det visas till exempel i listan över klasser som varken officiell eller homebrew, men är istället den enda personen som är anställd i kategorin "ytterligare". Således är det definitivt inte "riktigt officiellt", men någon på D & D Beyond (en officiella reglerkälla ) anser det väsentligt skilja sig från homebrew.

Så är kärnan i min fråga, vad skiljer blodjägaren från att vara en vanlig homebrew-klass? Jag kan tänka på några möjligheter, men det faktiska svaret kan vara en kombination, eller något annat helt.

Blood Hunter är faktiskt officiell, men publicerades utanför källböcker så det blir konstig behandling.
Blood Hunter är en licensierad tredje part produkt, så är "godkänt" material men anses inte vara officiellt för att vara tillåtet i Adventurer's League-spel.
Blood Hunter har utvecklats av medlemmar i D & D 5e-laget, så det kommer från en "officiell källa" men endast på en teknisk nivå.
Blood Hunter är från en mycket betrodd källa eller har erkänts som hög kvalitet av samhället, men är annars normalt homebrew.

Kritisk roll är sin egen icke-officiella källkategori. Det är tillsammans med homebrew och playtest material. Detaljer finns i ändra logg .

Jag tycker att det bästa sättet att tänka på det är någonstans mellan 3: e och 1: a partimaterialet (2: a partiet). Det är definitivt inte officiellt, men det godkänns av skaparna av 5e, och är som ett exempel på deras "godkända" homebrew-innehåll. Det är som en ny kategori 2: a parti material.

Blood Hunter är inofficiellt ("homebrew") innehåll av Matt Mercer, men han och Critical Role har ett reklampartnerskap med DNDBeyond.

Ingenting gör Blood Hunter-klassen i sig speciell jämfört med någon annan homebrew-klass som publiceras på DMsGuild eller DNDBeyond. Det är inte någon mer officiell eller AL-juridisk än någon annan homebrew-klass.

Den enda anledningen till att den har en särskild placering / presentation på DNDBeyond är att Matt Mercer och Critical Role har ett reklampartnerskap med DNDBeyond. Tydligen, som en del av det partnerskapet, har DNDBeyond gått med på att tillhandahålla speciella listor för Mercer's homebrew blodjägare och hans Gunslinger fighter subclass. DNDBeyonds karaktärsskapare listar också "Critical Role Content" separat från andra "Homebrew Content", förmodligen av samma anledning.

Jeremy Crawford: The only official classes in D&D are in the Player's Handbook. For a new class to become official in the future, it must appear in a D&D book or must be announced as official by the D&D team.

DNDBeyond: The Blood Hunter is actually categorized under 'Additional Classes' everywhere it appears in DDB. It is specifically not under 'Official Classes' and is not considered official.
