Jag började just titta på Harry Potter-serien, och jag hade en nyfiken tanke.
Vi vet att Harry var född till två föräldrar som var i stånd till magi, och kan göra magi. Vi vet att Hermione föddes till två Muggle-föräldrar, och kan också göra magi.
Finns det någon som är född till två magiska föräldrar, som inte kan göra magi själva?
Det har varit minst två Squibs födda till två magiska föräldrar.

Angus Buchanan. Information om Pottermore om skotskt rugby avslöjar förekomsten av en Squib i den renblodiga Buchanan-familjen:

The proud old warlock went further: a Squib in any family was a sign that they were in decline and deserved to be winnowed out.
Särskilt anmärkningsvärt är att Angus kom så långt som sorteringsceremonin vid Hogwarts innan han blev utkämpad som Squib.

Vi ser den slagna delen av släktträdet i Order of the Phoenix -filmen. Det fanns också ett släktträd som producerats av JK Rowling för välgörenhet, en kopia av vilken finns på HP Lexion .
