Förmodligen ogift

Det finns inget som nämns i TV-serierna om att han är gift.

Sir Arthur Conan Doyle nämnde aldrig att Mycroft var gift i sina romaner (han nämns bara ca 4 gånger som jag minns), men givet sin natur verkar det osannolikt.

Mycroft appears or is mentioned in four stories by Doyle: "The Greek Interpreter", "The Final Problem", "The Empty House" and "The Bruce-Partington Plans".

Det vi känner till av honom, från romanen och genom att läsa mellan raderna , verkar bekräfta hans ungkarlskap.

Han är grundare av Diogenes Club som Sherlock beskriver:

Det här tenderar att leda oss mot honom och föredrar en mer ensam social existens.

Mycroft har också "logi" i Pall Mall snarare än ett "hem" som också skulle indikera en ensam existens och då finns hans vanor ..

Det verkar inte finnas något utrymme för ett gift eller till och med ett socialt liv i den "cykeln".

Sammantaget tycks en ungkarl vara den mest logiska tolkningen av "beviset", även om det inte uttryckligen anges.
