Varelserna heter Abraxans. Medan aldrig namnges direkt i böckerna beskriver en senare tome och identifierar varelserna.
De heter i en bok som skrivs av JK Rowlings under pseudonymen av Newt Scamander i en bok som heter: Fantastiska djur & Var hittar du dem .

Winged horses exist worldwide.
