I Rogue One är Hammerhead Corvettes konstruerade för ramming?

Det finns mycket lite information om Hammerhead-korvetten i canon; förutom Rogue One , var det enda utseendet på den modellen i ett enda avsnitt av Star Wars Rebels .

Det sägs att det inte finns någon indikation på att de är speciellt utformade för att ramma andra fartyg. deras artikel i databasen noterar att de är ganska robusta och kraftfulla fartyg, men det handlar om det:

Enligt databasen har de vissa funktioner som är bra för ramming:

Jag kan dock inte hitta några bevis för att de är utformade med ramming i åtanke. Fartygen är baserade på tidigare (Legends) Hammerhead-Class Cruiser , och jag kan inte heller hitta några bevis att dessa fartyg ofta användes för att ramla. Det verkar bara vara en cool design.

När man tittar på Rogue One, märker jag att Hammerhead skrovplattor vid inverkan tycks böjas inåt, som om de är utformade för att absorbera påverkan.
